Fast emerging tech-metalcore band Eschalon have released their new single / video, 'Denial', featuring a special guest performance from vocalist Ashe O'Hara.

Wade into the haunting melody of 'Denial' – a captivating exploration of love twisted by narcissism, obsession, and control. This track blends haunting themes with a manic undercurrent, tracing the narrator’s descent into a toxic cycle of fixation and resentment after the collapse of a relationship.

The band comment: "Lyrically, 'Denial' delves into the refusal of rejection, where obsessive and egotistical tendencies clash with seething rage and bitter regret. The narrator struggles to reconcile their possessive behaviours with the devastation they've caused, projecting blame while carrying the burden of their own faults. As the song unfolds, moments of self-awareness punctuate the delusion, revealing the internal war between compulsion and accountability.

"Musically, 'Denial' strikes a delicate balance between manic intensity and melodic nuance, mirroring the push-and-pull of obsession and introspection. Its delicate melodies intertwine with dark, chaotic passages, underscoring the volatility of the emotions at play.
