For more than 50 years, the composer, musician and producer Klaus Schulze paved a way for avant-garde, ambient music, with his extensive sounds and legendary sequences.

In close consultation with the relatives of the electronic legend, who passed away in 2022, his label home at SPV is now revisiting the archives of the master of the Moog synthesiser. 101, MILKY WAY will be the first release of this renewed collaboration, coming 15th November (SPV Recordings).

101, MILKY WAY is a real treasure from Klaus Schulze's musical legacy. It is one of those Klaus Schulze works that absolutely needed to be presented to the world, and as such it is part of our obligation to share all of his music with all of you. And of course the genesis of this album - as always - has its very own history.

It all began at the end of 2008 with an enquiry from a German film production company asking if Klaus would perhaps create the score for a planned film documentary about computer hackers. In the end, this turned into a complete Klaus Schulze album, from which the director of the documentary film Hacker - Alex Biedermann - was only to use small parts as soft background music.

With 101, MILKY WAY, the complete work created in 2009 is now available for the first time - a greeting from Klaus' new cosmic home somewhere in the universe.

74 year old composer, musician and producer Klaus Schulze, born in Berlin, was known all over the world as the pioneer of electronic music and master of the Moog synthesiser. He shaped the 'Berlin School' and is the forefather of innumerable electronic music styles and genres. The ‘godfather of Techno Music' – as he was fondly called by some internationally-known DJs and remixers – rolled out his extensive sounds, played his legendary sequences and created his unique 'Schulze atmosphere' for more than 50 years. Beginning with Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Tempel, Klaus created over 50 solo albums, including Irrlich, Mirage, X, Dune, Farscape, Kontinuum, Silhouettes, and lastly Deus Arrakis. Creating either under the moniker of Richard Wahnfried or in his various collaborations with great artists like Arthur Brown, Michael Shrieve, Rainer Bloss, Lisa Gerrard or lately Hans Zimmer: Klaus Schulze always remained faithful to his unmistakable style of making music, while keeping an open mind for innovations and experiments.

Lucha Britannia and Slay Duggee announce Xmas Slaycation - The "greatest afternoon of all-ages heavy metal and wrestling action in the history of the world" hosted at indigo at the O2 on 28th December 2024.

A new family-friendly package combines the greatest entertainers from the worlds of grappling and metal music; a fully integrated live heavy metal and high-flying wrestling show featuring mystery masked performers. Attendees will experience:

-    High-flying wrestling from Lucha Britannia with 14 masked wrestlers
-    Family-friendly live heavy metal from Slay Duggee
-    An inclusive show for all ages
-    Wrestling, metal, comedy, dancing

Lucha Britannia - women wrestle men, men wrestle ducks, fish wrestle Gods.

Lucha Britannia top dog Vanderhorne is no stranger to combining music and grappling. He previously promoted RAMWA (Rock and Metal Wrestling Action) that combined live metal and wrestling. Orange Goblin and Mallory Knox both played early gigs as part of these memorable events.

Vanderhorne’s masked luchadores have been entertaining crowds for over a decade at events including Download Festival and Soccer AM. And Lucha Britannia was part of Will Ospreay’s wrestling journey to world domination with AEW. Now they’ll find a new audience with this unique collaboration.

Slay Duggee - five dogs that play hardcore metal versions of family favourites and kids theme tunes. 

Slay Duggee return for their first show since a triumphant summer playing to 9000 metalheads at Download Festival, partying on stage with Download Do and replacing their drummer with 9-year old drum prodigy Caleb H Drummer at Teddy Rocks. Slay Duggee were also the heaviest performance at this year’s Kendal Calling. 

Expect to hear songs like 'Baby Shark', 'Stick', 'Bluey', 'Spongebob Squarepants' and 'I’m Still Standing' as Slay Duggee teach kids and parents how to headbang, pogo, and create increasingly complicated geometric shapes of mosh pit.

Throughout the show there will be opportunities for the crowd to meet all performers for signings, selfies and headlocks.

Slay Duggee

Only 48 hours after Slay Duggee formed in early 2018, Steve Lamacq played their single ‘Stick’ on BBC Radio 6 Music and dubbed Slay Duggee as the ‘Lords of Toddler Metal.’

Fuelled by a viral cover of ‘Baby Shark’, the band achieved over 50 million online video views online. Slay Duggee has played twice at Download, twice at the UK’s biggest independent metal festival Bloodstock, performed a live session for Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music and appeared on Britain’s Got Talent.

Founded in 2018 by mastermind and lead vocalist Bartłomiej "Варфоломей" Krysiuk and propelled by their critically acclaimed album, Hospodi, and relentless touring around the globe, the Polish Orthodox black metal icons formerly known as Batushka have revealed their brand new band name, PATRIARKH.

Originally founded by Krzysztof Drabikowski in 2015, Batushka released their successful first album, Litourgiya, with vocals handled by Bartłomiej "Варфоломей" Krysiuk. Three years later, the band split up and both parties decided to keep going with the same name, until a legal dispute resulted in Krysiuk recently changing his band’s name.

PATRIARKH is finally free from litigation, and with a clear and fresh vision, the new band looks towards a bright future. Deeply rooted in Eastern Orthodox tradition and music, PATRIARKH combine black and doom metal and ushers in a new era with outstanding, ominous religious schemas that conceal their identities amid remarkable liturgies with their fans. 

Conveying the spirit of true patriarchs and Orthodox sacredness, the band just returned from an intensive run through Latin America. PATRIARKH will soon possess European audiences on their “Prophecy” tour, wrapping up their last shows in Poland before heading to 28 cities in 13 countries. The final Batushka show will take place on 13th December in Melbourne, Australia.

After more than a year of searching, prog rock group Aisles welcome their singer, Boris Seeder, with their new single 'The Dream'.

"This single was developed after all our lineup changes for the last year or so", says Germán Vergara, Aisles’ guitarist and producer. "When Boris joined, he brought new colours to the melodies, which we really enjoyed and thought were ideal for this new process we are living as a band." 

Boris replaces vocalist Israel Gil, who stepped down as frontman of Aisles in 2023.
 
'The Dream' was produced by Germán Vergara, mixed by Fernando Cubillos, mastered by GRAMMY award-nominated producer & mix engineer Jacob Hansen (Vola, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, among many more), and the artwork was created by the Chilean design studio Medu1a. The track brings up the notion of never letting go of your dreams, and it was written after the creative process of their previous album, Beyond Drama (2023), with a strident heaviness inspired by Muse and Leprous.

The track is available on all streaming platforms through Presagio Records.

Aisles’ new vocalist, Boris, is a music teacher and experienced singer who has performed with musicians such as Bobby Kimball (Toto), Eric Martin (Mr. Big) and with Brazilian heavy metal band Angra. “I’m happy to join Aisles, a band that is so consolidated, real and challenging. Aisles motivate me to grow constantly but also to trust in my own instinct.” After an intense audition process that included men and women of different musical backgrounds, Boris was chosen because of his discipline and talent, and because he shares the same work ethic with the band.

Aisles, formed also by Juan Pablo Gaete (keyboards, synth), Daniel Concha (bass), and Alvaro Poblete (drums) are working on new songs that will be released soon, taking a turn towards a heavier sound with a substantial use of sequences. 'The Dream' marks the beginning of a new era in the band, and it is the first piece of original material released by the group since 'Bahamut', in June, 2023.

Having released five highly acclaimed studio albums, progressive rock band Aisles have created an unparalleled musical approach that combines intricate melodies and sonic openness. They have toured the Americas, Europe, and performed with prog legends Marillion, Focus, and Riverside.
 
In 2005, Aisles released their debut album, The Yearning, recognised for its elegant and delicate melodic work. In 2009, their second album, In Sudden Walks, inspired by existential literature and by theatre, was nominated for Best Foreign Record at the Prog Awards in Italy. Their third record, 4:45 AM (2013) was ranked among the best albums of that year in numerous publications specialised in progressive rock.
 
Their fourth studio album, Hawaii (2016), a conceptual double album that narrates the life of humanity in space after the destruction of the Earth, was called a “masterpiece”. The success of the album allowed Aisles to tour in Europe, the United States and Mexico.
 
In 2018, they released the EP Live from Estudio del Sur, complemented by four live-recorded videos available on YouTube. The band released their fifth album, Beyond Drama, on April 5, 2023, after the departure of three members and the reconfiguration of the group. On June 30, 2023, they released the instrumental suite Bahamut, inspired by the science fiction novel of the same name written by Chilean author Francisco Ortega. On August, 2024, they released the single 'The Dream', introducing the new singer Boris Seeder.

With 'Echoes', Allt reveal an ace that they had up their sleeves. Arguably one of the most mesmerising tracks on the upcoming album, 'Echoes' is the perfect cliffhanger for everyone looking forward to dive into the musical dystopia that is From The New World.

Vocalist Robin Malmgren comments: “A softer track like 'Echoes' needs a vocal delivery that fits. Recording the vocals for this track was a challenging process; getting the balance right took a lot of time, but I think we nailed it. Along with the rest of the singles, it serves as a strong showcase of the album’s range—there’s still much more to be revealed.”

From The New World will be out 4th October via Century Media Records and is available for pre-order. The 10-track album is a sonic testimony of a post-nuclear world, exploring both the chaos and stillness that follows.

The band share about the album: "We are beyond excited to finally announce our debut album, From The New World. This album is the product of two years of hard work, writing, world-building, and growth, and on October 4th, it will finally be yours to enjoy.

"When we started working on the album, we were struck by how the world seemed on edge, with all these tensions and fears about the future. So, we got into the idea of exploring what happens after everything falls apart. Each track is its own story, showing different sides of loss, hope, and that stubborn spirit that keeps people pushing forward. The album has got a cosmic twist, too. We were drawn to the Fermi paradox, that big question of why it feels like we're alone in the universe with all these stars and planets. The album asks if we can still connect and if there's room for human bonds in an upside-down world.

"What makes this album truly unique is the time we spent isolated in a cabin deep in the forest. This retreat allowed us to immerse ourselves in the creative process, away from distractions and surrounded by the quiet of nature. Founded in 2008 in Vaasa, Finland, One Morning Left are well known for their unique blend of electro, hardcore and metalcore influences, as well as their entertaining and energetic live shows where absolutely anything can happen.

One Morning Left's fourth album, Hyperactive, marked their first new material in five years and began a whole new chapter in their story. Additional firepower is provided by new members Tuukka Ojansivu on guitar and Miska Sipiläinen on bass guitar, along with the return of keyboard player Touko Keippilä from the band’s original Panda <3 Penguin lineup.
